House District 31

Spanning both Prince William and Fauquier Counties, the 31st House District is centered in the outer suburbs of the northern Virginia region. From Route 1 overlooking the historic Potomac River to the rural vista that graces Warrenton, the 31st District is composed of rambling peaceful suburbs and spacious country farms. In the east, commuters in the 31st District ply I-95 daily to the Pentagon and other Washington D.C. locations. In the western portion of the district, farmers toil faithfully
in the fields once ranged Major John S. Mosby and his famous Confederate riders. Both Prince William and Fauquier have grown steadily over the past decade, becoming home to large numbers of Northern Virginia and Washington
commuters. Many residents of the 31st District have escaped busy and congested Fairfax to enjoy the convenience of a suburban setting south of the Occoquan River or the peace of rural life found in the rolling hills of New Baltimore to peaceful plains and shaded forests near Catlett.

Areas in the 31st District: Part of Fauquier County comprised of the Kettle Run, Catlett, Casanova, and New Baltimore Precincts and part of the Baldwin Ridge Precinct; and part of Prince William County comprised of the Park, Saunders, Enterprise, Benton, King, Beville, Lodge, Dale, Neabsco, Freedom, Godwin, Minnieville, and Bel Air Precincts and parts of the Quantico and Washington-Reid Precincts.
